Not the blogs, or the bloggers. The blog system.
I just spent some time to try out the Friendster blog system, and I now know that it is as buggy, unreliable, and unwieldy as the regular Friendster page. It is extremely hard to perform advanced editing and customization on it. Your posts get lost in a bunch of errors. It has the steepest learning curve I have ever seen in a blogging site.
Here's one example of what I'm talking about. After typing in a blog post I decide to place it in a category, but the add new categories button didn't seem to respond so I clicked on it again, and again, and again. I was frustrated. Then, after a reload I found out that I created 5 duplicate categories. The problems didn't stop there. I decided to publish my new post, but after clicking "publish", nothing happened! Even after 8 minutes, nothing happened. I eventually got the post up but it took some time and a lot of patience. (I don't even want to tell how I got it up, that would be tiring.)
In the end, if you want to blog, do it somewhere else. Friendster blogs is just not worth it.
